The opinion enquiry could consist in using an online survey application to gather the opinions, among players of the free software community, of :
- Persons and groups offering services (hosting, ASP, SaaS, etc.)
- Persons and groups designing, making, assembling computer products
- Organizations that use computing equipment
- Representatives of other organizations doing ethical certification
Preliminary Studies
- Thorough analysis of the process leading to the adoption of a standard (e.g. ISO)
- Thorough analysis of the internal operations of a certification agency
Practical Studies
- Market studies for each of the four types of certification
- Feasibility study on the setting up of an international agency coordinating various national/regional branches
