You can also use the "Internet Relay Chat" (IRC) communication protocol. It allows to join real-time discussion groups. Steps to follow:

• from your computer, use an IRC client such as x-chat, chatzilla, irssi, konversation, gaim, web interface...
• connect to the network: irc.freenode.net
• join us on the channel: #facil (text command: /join #facil)
